Production Coordinator
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Cordova, TN | Full Time, In Office | ContractingPRO
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The full logistics of every active job, from the Production Manager's approval of a Project all the way job completion — running at the same time across every job in the pipeline, not one at a time.
- Same-day customer communication. Every call and message from a homeowner gets a real answer, the same business day. Nobody has to call twice.
- Material and special orders, tracked and verified. The Production Manager places the order; you track it from day one and verify color, profile, and quantity against the file before it's assumed delivered, reporting any discrepancy the same hour.
- The Ready gate. Nothing hits the schedule until scope, materials, permits, and crew are all actually lined up. No exceptions.
- Scheduling and every date change. Offered and confirmed directly with the homeowner by phone, never assumed from an email.
- Releasing the job to the crew. A complete work order and staged materials ready before the crew has to ask.
- Daily job watch. Keeping eyes on every active job in the pipeline at once, and backing up Field Managers when something needs attention.
- Change orders. Priced and approved in writing before any extra work starts.
- Closing the loop. The post-install satisfaction call, a clean closed file.
- Permits and inspections. Moving on their own in the background the entire time. Never the reason a job stalls.
- A CRM and job file someone could pick up cold and trust. Accurate in real time, on every active job.
Not a receptionist seat with a better title. Not chaos, either — we run on EOS: a scorecard with numbers you own, a weekly one on one that actually happens, and a written playbook instead of a system that lives in somebody's head. |
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Two or more years in customer service, scheduling, dispatch, or an operations or construction office.
- Genuinely organized. Not “pretty organized.” The kind people notice and comment on.
- Warm and confident on the phone with a homeowner who is nervous about their house.
- Comfortable being told what the priority is, and just as comfortable saying out loud when something is off track.
- Accurate, because close enough costs real money in this seat.
- Solid with a CRM, email, and spreadsheets.
- Able to work from our Cordova office. This seat is not remote.
COMPENSATION
$25–$30 per hour depending on experience (roughly $52,000–$62,400 a year). Health stipend, paid time off, and paid holidays.
WHO WE ARE
ContractingPRO is a family owned roofing and siding company in Cordova, Tennessee. We have been here since 2012 under the same name and the same family. Over 500 five star Google reviews. Owens Corning Platinum Preferred, which puts us in the top one percent nationally. James Hardie Elite Preferred. A+ with the BBB since the year we opened.
We did not get there by being the cheapest. We got there by telling homeowners the truth and then doing exactly what we said we would do.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
What we actually sell is peace of mind. The stretch between the day a homeowner signs and the day the crew shows up belongs to this seat. We call before they wonder, and bad news comes early, plainly, with the next step already attached. A homeowner will forgive a delay. They will not forgive being left in the dark.
You'll have a leader, not a boss who disappears. This seat reports to our Production Manager. He sets the plan and the standard, then gets out of your way. You bring him solved problems and clear questions. He brings you decisions and air cover when a customer escalates.
SUMMARY
You are the person who remembers. We are hiring for a seat where that is the whole point.
In every job you've had, you were the one who knew where things stood and what was about to fall through the cracks — and you got handed everybody's messes without the authority to fix any of them.
We are hiring a Production Coordinator, and being that person is the entire job description.
