Marketing Event Coordinator

Location: Seattle, WA (Local candidates only)

Bath Planet of Seattle is seeking an experienced Marketing Event Coordinator to lead our event marketing efforts throughout the Seattle area. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a passion for event marketing, team management, and customer engagement. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of promotional events while recruiting, training, and managing a team of event demonstrators.

Responsibilities

• Identify, schedule, and book local events, trade shows, fairs, and festivals.
• Coordinate and manage promotional event schedules.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and supervise a team of event marketing representatives.
• Generate qualified customer leads through in-person event marketing.
• Ensure event booths are professionally set up, maintained, and dismantled.
• Track and report weekly productivity, labor, inventory, and departmental budgets.
• Establish and achieve weekly and monthly performance goals.
• Collaborate with sales and management teams to maximize event success.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers, team members, and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Must be located in Seattle, WA.
• Minimum of 3 years of event marketing experience.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training employees.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
• Basic computer proficiency for scheduling and reporting.
• Availability to work every weekend.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in promotional marketing, trade shows, or home improvement marketing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Sales or lead generation experience is a plus.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $800–$1,200 per week
• Plus: Commission and performance bonuses based on appointments and sales generated from events
• Travel reimbursement for eligible non-commute business travel
